Write whole number as n/1, then flip & multiply.
MIXED → IMPROPER
a b/c = (ac+b)/c
Convert BEFORE dividing. Never divide mixed numbers directly!
SIZE CHECK
÷ (frac <1) → bigger
Dividing by a fraction less than 1 gives a larger result. Easy trap!

Cross-cancel first
Simplify diagonally before multiplying to keep numbers small.
