& Convert

100 questions across 5 progressive sets — multiplying and dividing fractions, finding reciprocals, and converting between mixed numbers and improper fractions.

Quick Concept Reference
MULTIPLY
Multiply numerator × numerator, denominator × denominator. Then simplify.1/2 × 2/3 = 2/6 = 1/3
DIVIDE
Keep the first fraction, flip the second (reciprocal), then multiply.1/2 ÷ 2/3 = 1/2 × 3/2 = 3/4
RECIPROCAL
Swap the numerator and denominator. A number times its reciprocal always equals 1.reciprocal of 3/5 is 5/3
MIXED → IMPROPER
Multiply whole × denominator, add the numerator, keep the same denominator.2 1/3 → (2×3)+1 = 7/3
IMPROPER → MIXED
Divide numerator by denominator. Quotient is the whole number, remainder sits over the same denominator.7/3 → 2 remainder 1 → 2 1/3
